How much would an illustration cost?
It all depends. I charge $25/figure and then $25/hourly for background details which usually average out to around 2 hours. I will send an invoice before work starts asking for 50% upfront and the remainder right before I sent the final finals.
What is your process?
We will set up a zoom call to discuss what you are looking for, your colors, illustrations you already like, how many figures you want etc. Once the details are decided I will send you an invoice followed by rough sketches. I ask that you send feedback and then from there I will create the “final” illustrations. I sent them to you one more time for any last minute changes. Once everything is finalized I will send you a WeTransfer with all of the files. Included files: The full illustrations in both .PNG and JPeg files and all of the figures in their own .PNG files so you can use them in the figure on things like newsletters, announcements, social media posts etc.
What is the turn around time?
I aim for 3ish weeks. I do have a full-time job that isn’t related to Harmony Willow Studio so sometimes it takes a bit longer than that. Please be patient with me!!
How much input will you have?
As much as you like. To be honest though, the best projects happen when you give me free reign and allow me to use my creative juices to create illustrations for you!!
